Waking through the night

Can anybody help? My little girl has always slept through the night, but recently she wakes up, at different times, usually around 1am and crys for us. She wants to come to "mummy's bed". I will sit with her untill she goes back off to sleep, but you can guarantee she will wake again in 1/2 hour or so, and do the same thing. I have had to get up several times before now and just give up in the end. I do have a 12 week baby in the cot in our bedroom, but he doesnt seem to bother her. It is driving me mad. Any suggestions.

How old is she? Does she have all her teeth? Is her room too hot? Does she wake up crying? Could be a nightmare. My ds2.5 was having nightmares about a drill because he heard someone drilling in a flat near us but couldnt see it. Lasted about a week. Try a night light to plug in her plug where she can see it.
