I'm really starting to feel that my parental input and influence is running out with my ds as he finishes primary school and looks forward to secondary school.
I feel like I could have done some things better. Spent more time with him alone (ie without siblings), had more conversations with him, played more games etc

I know it's not too late and I can still do this but ds has never been a chatty type and I do worry that he won't talk to me about problems.

What things can I do to try to get him to open up and have a really strong and secure bond with him?
