I'm interested to know different people's answer to this question: What is your goal when providing a meal for your child?

DS is a growing fast preteen, so the aim with him is to try and fill him up without having to break the bank.

Dd it's just to get her to sit with us without throwing a hissy fit. If she eats as well, that's a bonus!

I don't always look to balance nutrition on each plate but over a day with my toddler. So at each meal I try to provide something which she will eat and leave her feeling satisfied, but also either a good balance of food groups or fill in the gaps she's missed. She's a good eater though, so it's not very difficult.
