Minki yo-yos as a pull-up nappy

Has anyone tried Minki yo-yos as a pull-up nappy? And are they any good? Until now we've been using Bumbles really successfully, but dd is showing signs of being ready to toilet train and I'd like to try these instead - popper wraps and nipper nappies aren't very conducive to starting to be 'independent'!

we used them at night with dd

but bought them specifically so she'd be comfy and dry as they are fleece lined

this is no good if you want your lo to be aware when she's wet

do like them very much tho'

I used them as night-time nappies for children that wore pants during the day. Stuffed them with microfibre cloths to keep the bulk down. They were fine, but in my opinion the sizing comes up a bit small, so it may be worth ordering the size above.

I wouldn't bother with pull up just go the whole hog!

I bought in a load of training type pants and I think it just confuses them. If she is really ready for potty training you won't have main accidents before she knows what to do. I think we had 3 accidents on the first day 2 on the second then none after that. It does help to wait for summery weather though so they get the idea that when they wee it feels wet.

Having said that I would like to see a yo-yo as I've read about them!

Hmm. I am torn between going the whole hog - which is honestly what I was planning to do: when she was a little older, and in the summer! But she seems ready now and I'm scared! She's not talking terribly well - better every day, but not 'fluent' - and I'd always imagined her being more mature in other ways. She is very determined, but I'm... scared!
