Wasn't expecting the guilt - newborn and 3.5 year old

My 3.5 ds got upset today and said he doesnt like his new sister and will never play with her! I know this understandable at this stage but wasn't expecting this guilt!

He will love her again in ten minutes. Don't worry

The feeling of small children are very full-on while they're having them, but IME they don't brood on them the way you or I might do. Don't worry if he seems to really mean it at the time!
