Confused about direction to go in for uni

Hiya,
I'm completing the Access to Nursing Course part time, so still have another year and a half to do, but the college is asking which direction I want to go in.
I don't know! I started the course with either Child nursing (inc Health Visitor) or midwifery. But, I am really enjoying my Doula and Alternative therapy work that i am doing, so I would like to think that I can carry on with this as well as another job (maybe not so much doula).
Last week, we had someone in from Social Services, and, that got me thinking. Another bloody option!!

I am so confused, how did any of you decide which direction to go in?

I would see if you can get some kind of work experience in each area ( even if its just a day)this may help you make some kind of decison.

I just 'knew' that I wanted to be a nurse, I had started my access course with the intention of becoming a midwife, but while on the course I discovered the diversity of nursing and all of the specialities you can go into once qualified.

I love nursing, yet I have no idea what I want to specialise in- one day I fancy School Nursing, then Macmillan nursing, Then I want to work in A&E- God the list is endless!!!

try to get some experience, go to open days - and perhaps look at this website, see how others decided
