Silly question about monitors and camera

Do you turn your camera off during the day when not being used - not the monitor but the camera part? Iv a Motorola one and I notice the camera sometimes flashes and just there it lost signal to the camera so made loads of loud beeping noise. We always leave the camera plugged in and the monitor is on all night charging etc

Yes, I turn the camera and monitor off when not being used. No point in wasting electricity

I don't cause it's high up to easily reach, so I leave the camera on and just turn the monitor off
