Hello

School ends at about 3pm. Homework of 10 mins is recommended but then after that is done, what activities do you do with your DCs until it's time for bed?

Hi,
My dd , year 4, has only homework once a week which she does at the weekend, she reads for an hour every night
We get home at 3.45 Monday Wednesday and Thursday, she goes to the park across the road with her friends, goes on her scooter, goes on her tablet, watches TV
Tuesday and Friday she does swimming lessons until 5.30

Ds, 12 , is home at 5 normally after staying at after school clubs
He just eats and plays on his phone and does home work, he tends to see friends at the weekend

Thanks lilac. I don't have much to do with my son. I read with him, watch TV, but then I run out of ideas. I don't want him to watch too much TV. I'm wondering whether I should sign him up to some activity like music, etc
