Weaning/enough milk

Hello, looking for some advice please.
My LB is 8 months today, I currently give him breakfast at 8ish with a smaller bottle of milk approx 5oz then lunch at midday with same amount in the bottle. He then has a 7oz bottle at 4pm then same again at 7.30ish then bed. How do I get the dinner feed in and should I be cutting more bottles down? He's good with his food but always has a bottle just after eating but doesn't always finish it hence the smaller amount. Any advice would be much appreciated for a first time mum who worries if my little one is getting enough or too much especially with his milk 😊
Thanks

Can't be much help as did it a bit differently, until he was weaned he had 4 bottles 7 / 11/ 3/ 7 and went to three once he was 'eating' three meals 3 bottles 7/2/7 once he was 1 went down to 2 at 7 and 7 and then at 13 months just bedtime. Don't be hasty to drop too much milk before 1 as then you run in to all sorts of vitamin trouble etc and milk is so handy when then are teething and refuse to eat food!!

You could try giving milk separate from food e.g. I used to give milk at 7am, 11am, 2.30/3pm, 7pm and then food at 8am, 12pm and 5pm. I gave water with the meals. A minimum of 20oz of milk is recommended from 6m to 1 year alongside meals

Thanks you've both been a big help. I give him water during/finished his meal but he cries and gets himself into such a state I give him his milk. I shall persevere lol.

At 8 months DS had similar to described above. 8oz at 7,11,3 and 7 (ish!). Once he got into a solid 3 meal pattern then I dropped a bottle as he was only taking half his milk and not eating loads.

He currently (10 months) has 8oz at 7, 1 and 7 and has breakfast at 8, lunch at 12 and tea at 5. With various snacks thrown in! He definitely increasd his solid food intake once he lost a bottle, but we are flexible and some days he still has 4 bottles.
