How to increase milk feeds?

I breastfed my baby on demand so I found he sometimes only had a little milk at certain feeds.
When I expressed I could see he only had an oz or 2 ounces at a time.

He is now 8 months old and on four meals a day (breakfast, lunch, tea & dinner) with snacks in between).

I want to give him three bottle feeds a day and wanted some help please at increasing his milk feeds in the afternoon and evening.....I find he has a lot of milk in the morning.

I was thinking try and start with 5 ounces and then increase gradually.

Has anybody else had this problem?
