DS, 2.8, on the weekend, when refusing to go on the potty:

"It's not potty time on the Island of Sodor"

It's a sad truth that he'd rather live there in the Diesel shed than with us...

No searching the internet for Island of Sodor clocks...

I cant go to sleep because...... I've forgotten how to close my eyes

Not mine but I love the one I read on here about a DS who wouldn't wipe his bottom because he 'didn't have the time!'

My friend's DD (3) claimed she couldn't walk because she didn't have any bones in her legs.

My dd say's "I'm trying to be good mummy, my head tells me to be good, but I just can't do it" in a very sweet innocent voice!

Me - "DD please don't play with mummy's lipstick"

DD - "but mummy I'm faaahhbulous!"

If you choked on something or got something stuck in your throat my dm used to say "it's got bones in" cue my 3yo on the potty straining to poo and crying I can't it's got bones in!

"I just want to do what I want to do!"

Me: DS please stop throwing things around the room, it's getting a bit silly now.
DS: It's not me mummy, it's Fireman Sam, he keeps throwing things, not me.
