Any other Spotify users fed up with the swearys?

I mean- how hard is it for them to set it so that the songs default to the safe radio edit version. Too many family gatherings with red faces when some awful words come out - why can't Spotify just default to the non sweary version ? Obvs have contacted them and they don't give a flying f so off to cancel my subscription

I think you might be on the wrong forum!
Just pick songs with no swear words, or listen to the radio. IME children don't listen to the words anyway. It annoys me when there's a gap where there should be a word, you can't censor everything.

It's the opposite for me - I find it frustrating that it doesn't always default to the unedited version!

Yeah I agree with TipBoov I always prefer the unedited version and tbh you probably here just as many swear words going outside.

If you don't want it playing songs with swear words create playlists and make sure you've saved clean versions.
