Travel Sickness

Hi all,

My kiddies (age 8 and 4) suffer with travel sickness and I usually give them tablets two hours before travel which has always stopped the sickness.

I have however just bought some travel sickness wrist bands, as I would prefer to use these instead of medication, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these bands.

Are they as effective as the tablets?

Thanks in advance.

Renee

Hi - I used the bands as a child and also for morning sickness and they never failed. Just make sure they are correctly positioned

I tried bands and anti sickness tablets and unfortunately neither worked for my DD. I have found sucking on a mint or hard sweet has helped, also no reading or screens as this just makes things worse

Having a large Tupperware or ice cream tub with a lid in the car, was the best advice I was given for car sickness emergencies. Helps to avoid leaks, mess and smells as you can put a lid on and contain things until you are able to stop.
