Aaarrrggghhh, just sleep!

I have an extremely tired 19 month old. He doesn't want to do anything just cry because he's so tired. (He was at nursery yesterday, he doesn't sleep there so is always extremely tired the next day)
He's now in bed. Still crying because he's tired.
Just go to sleep!

This baffles me every time! Why do small people not sleep but just cry about how tired they are?!

I know. It's so frustrating. They get over tired and over wrought and can't seem to switch off. Mine struggles to sleep at nursery and is a demon the next day too. No advice just sympathy!

I've just had to use my 'tough mummy' voice and he's now stopped throwing everything out of his cot like a lunatic and gone to sleep. Hope he wakes up in a nicer mood
