Nappy Advice Site

Hello Nappy Peeps

I seem to have started doing email advice about cloth nappies (volunteering myself for it ), and I am really enjoying it. Its not about advising things that my site would sell (the non-existent site atm), but just enjoying helping people find the right nappy for them, and helping point them in the right direction of where they could buy it for the best price.

How many of you would use something like that? (Similar to the nappy lady advice thing, but with more range of different nappies because its not limited to my own range).

I did something very similar.

i set up a website to promote the use of cloth and also to give information. I also wet round doing demo's at sure start groups and events and stuff and did nappuchinos. As I had no financial interest people took me seriously. Also petitioned the local council and got them to adopt a policy of £70 refund on cloth nappies.

They also bought the site off me lol. I only charged them a nominal fee- covered my expenses on it.

All te veru best with your project

Hi Flame - thanks to the wonderful advice from this site (you in particular) I am now the proud owners of WBBs and wouldn't change for the world, but I would definitely use your site if I was just starting out!

I would i found the nl service really helpful although we have yet to start using our nappies as ds was too small and now the washing machine is bu**ered.

Definitely! I'm always trawling through old threads and re-reading them for advice! Plus, my memory's like a sieve and once I get the answer I'm looking for it falls out of my head 10 mins later anyway, so it would be good to have another place to go for information/advice!
Good luck with it!

I would like some advice.

So far I have used nippa bamboozles and Kooshies all in ones. DD has grown out of the BB and leaks from the Ks. I need some new nappies SOON. She is nr 5 months old with a big belly and thighs rolls to die for.

Go on - advise me
