Ds2 is due in 12 days time and I'm panicking over everything at the moment.

I haven't used this steriliser in over a year and have lost the instructions!! I think I remember that you have to put 260mls of cold water in the bottom of the steriliser but then does it need to be microwaved on full power for 3 or 5 minutes? I really don't know.

Also, while I'm kind of on the subject, how long do you use the first slow flow teats for on Avent bottles? I remember that ds1 was a big baby and I was told to put him on medium flow when he was a few days old! Is this normal? Should I not bother with them at all this time?

Any advice will be much appreciated! Thanks.

You could try the manufacturer's website - they usually have instructions that you can download. Good luck - you'll be OK, don't panic!

I went onto medium teats from the start with ds, he was and is a big guzzler!

Hi - You've probably already found this but the instructions are on the Lindam website

My Avent microwave steriliser takes 8 mins so they might all be similar. My HV told me to use medium teats from very early on but it seemed to makes most of the milk dribbles out of the sides of DS's mouth so used the slow flow ones until he was three months.

Not long to go now then - good luck!
