is the Imse a flannelette or terry nappy?

I found the flannelette ones fine for young baby, but not absorbent enough as she got older, but did use them to stuff my Fuzzibunz!

Imse terry nappies are lovely and absorbent enough for daytime use. The downside was that the terry "pile" is quite short,so they can't be used with a Nippa; you have to hold them in place with the wrap (or use good old-fashioned nappy pins). There is a bit of a knack to getting an Imse on with the wrap, I'll see if I can remember it, if you want!

Look here under "Questions and answers"

Imses are designed to use with the Bumpy wraps, but I'm sure you could just as easily use the tots wrap or nature babies wrap!

I've just looked again at that site, and see that the flannel nappies are now "form fitting"- when dd was born (she's now nearly 5) they were just flat, so looks like things got easier

Thanks for the tip-off - just order some large and x-large wraps!

kittypants · 05/01/2007 15:50

imse is the organic terry one.

Feel quite sad they are closing down - they offered a great service! We used them when DD was just six weeks old.
