Water table for 1 year old or not?

My daughter will be 1 soon and I was thinking of getting her a water table but wasn't sure if she'd be too young? I wanted to get her the pirate ship one by Little Tikes.

Don't think it's too young at all. I regretted buying one for indoors though much too splashy!

Absolutely go for it. My DS loved his water table from that sort of age (although a washing up bowl would also be as good).

I bought one for my ds for outside and to be honest he just tipped it up as soon as I filled it up. He's 2.5 now and is much better or my patience has improved

DD loved hers though she was more like 16/17 months by the time summer hit. I think a 1 yr old would enjoy it but get a sturdy one!

I'd get one. My little me one loved one then and still does now.I wish we had one

I bought one as it was reduced to 20 euro from 50 in Smyths for my 13 month old. Still in the box until summer. Hopefully she'll like it. It's also a sand tray presume she far too young for that as she will just eat it.

I bought one last year for my DS, he was around 15/16 months. Only ever used outside as it'd be far too splashy indoors. He loved it, and still enjoys it :)

My 15 month old loves her sand/water table, wished Id bought one earlier!

Definitely a good idea. You can use it for other sensory stuff too (outdoors) like cornflour gloop, jelli baff, oats etc

StarCakes · 22/03/2016 22:09

Get one, she will love it. My youngest had one at around 15 months and still uses it now age 4!
