visiting a theme park with chicken pox (AFTER its stopped being infectious)

This may be a ridiculous question, but I'm just wondering at what point you can take your toddler to a theme park AFTER they've had chicken pox. All the NHS advice says they can go back to school / nursery 5 days after the onset of the rash OR once all the spots have scabbed over (but not gone). We were planning to go 7 days after the onset of DS's rash, so theoretically fine... what would other people do? If they can go back to school or nursery then surely that''s fine? Clearly if all the spots haven't scabbed over we won't take him... but if they have then this shouldn't be a problem should it?

If spots have scabbed then I wouldn't think twice.

They aren't infectious anymore so you can do as you like

We had to postpone a visit to Legoland because DS got chicken pox (for the second time...). It's not worth the risk if they're not scabbed over.

Hope your DC aren't suffering too much with it.
