Not sure what to do. Gave birth to DD2 on Monday and have been at home since Tuesday. DD1 came home from spending the day at her grandparents yesterday full of cold, cough and a fever

Really worried that DD2 who is formula fed is going to pick up all these germs

Does anyone have any advice or reassurances? Doctors have said to keep them apart and ideally in separate rooms ....... Easier said then done when I've had a c-section!

We were in exactly the same situation a few months ago. Same age gap even! Older one was hospitalised with bronchiolitis when little one was a week old. Baby then went in 3 days later. She was very very poorly. I really don't think I could've kept them apart but would just say to keep a very close eye on both. Hope your daughter feels better soon x

Are you able to ask family to come and help? Otherwise I think it's do whatever you can to survive- if it's hours of peppa pig, then so be it! Hope your newborn doesn't catch it Flowers
