Little man teething already Sad
Red flushed cheeks, constant dribbling and chewing his little hands.

Im doing the home remedies like dummy in fridge and letting him chew on a teething ring while i hold it but nothings helping.
Ive gone and brought ashton and parsons powder after looking online and seeing its a miracle worker... all the reviews said theres no age limitations but i when hubby brought it back it says not to use under 3 months. Why has it suddenly changed and can i still use it anyway? I gave him a full sachet last night in desperation and he slept from 9pm-6am for the first time in a week and instantly seemed to feel better.
I have calpol suitable from 2 months of age but i dont want him getting use to that on a daily basis as its medication and ashtons is a herbal remedy?

Poor wee thing!

It's a misconception that herbal = harmless. It's a traditional herbal remedy but those herbs do have an impact on the body, or they wouldn't be used.

I think at 10 weeks it's unlikely to be harmful as a one off - you don't say how big he is? I don't think I would myself but I don't think I'd be comfortable using anything as an everyday thing.

Agree with you on regular Calpol use.

Oh sorry! Hes a perfect stone on the dot and was born at 39+5.
I would only use it at night if i was desperate
