single parent starting pgce

I've got a place on a pgce starting in Sept Grin I am a single parent, my DC will be 8 and 6 when I start. No family support nearby. They already go to a childminder before and after school.

Can anyone help me with what I might be entitled to? At the moment I get tax credits, I'm guessing the WTC will stop, but will I still get CTC? Will the DC be entitled to FSM? As I'm doing a shortage subject I will get a 25K bursary, but I've been told that won't be taken into account for tax credit purposes... Anyone got any experience of this?
