Do you drink and feed?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
SnuffleGruntSnorter · 12/02/2016 21:55

Yes but I don't drink heavily

figginz · 12/02/2016 21:59

Yes I did

moggle · 12/02/2016 22:16

Yes I'd have a couple of glasses of wine with a meal and then give a feed once I got home. But only once a month maybe. Nothing major. The amount of alcohol in breastmilk is really minuscule; you'd be unfit to care for a child well before the alcohol level in the milk got high enough to affect your baby.

Yes. Not enough to get drunk (well, maybe once or twice) but a couple of glasses of wine.

Effiethemonster · 12/02/2016 22:21

Yes, not sure how I'd get through this parenting malarkey without wine. Blush

Effiethemonster · 12/02/2016 22:22

Oh and I did my research and made an educated decision about it. Wine

Haggisfish · 12/02/2016 22:23

I did. I didn't drink more than a glass until they were about three months old but then I had two and sometimes three! Small glasses, I hasten to add.

NerrSnerr · 12/02/2016 22:23

Yes, I have a tin of gin on the go at the moment. Can't drink too much though because at 17 months she still doesn't sleep well.

Effiethemonster · 12/02/2016 22:26

Oh yeah I don't drink much but not cos I'm worried about the breastmilk, she just doesn't sleep so I'm constantly on edge Grin

Danni88 · 13/02/2016 13:38

Thank you all! And cheers! X
