A lovely problem to have - DS (7) has a joint class gift of around 250 pounds. Any brilliant gift suggestions?

DS (7) is in a class with a great set of parents. They always club together to buy birthday children a few special things rather than lots of little things they won´t appreciate. They end up with around 250/300 to spend.
They are asking me what he wants and I want to suggest something special/long-lasting/unique but stuck for inspiration.
He has a new scooter and bike, I don´t want anything around video games, he loves science, lego, football, being active

This is fun...my 7 yr old would also love a trampoline or an outside table tennis table

Something like go ape? A day at the indoor ski slope? Zoo keeper for the day, membership for something, subscription to a favourite magazine
