Lo is 5m +1 and started him on solids last week, very little few spoons of purée a day. He's been absolutely normal and taken to it very well. He's start flipping onto tummy past couple of days.

But he's just done a poo which I am rather concerned about.

I have attached a pic sorry if it's TMI, just needed some advice. First time mum so don't know. Does he need to be seen?

Could be just his system adjusting. If it carries on , and he isn't taking liquids, starts having a temp and seems generally unwell, see the doc. Mum of two (13 yrs, 9yrs) and former nursery worker here, I've seen plenty of nappies.

Now that you've said DS is teething, it looks completely normal to me. We had some very iffy looking nappies during teething.

Woh!! That's an impressive one!
I'd say it looks like nothing to worry about due to the new foods and also teething - plays havoc with their insides...

has he had raisins?

Samaritan1 · 16/01/2016 22:11

We had bright green nappies during teething, so yes, it can produce all sorts!
