crying before pooing?

My 9 week old doesn't poo everyday more like every other day but I've noticed she'll cry or a be a bit fussy before she does it, is that normal? She's breastfed and the poo is always normal looking ( runny )

Mine did that. She hates pooing in a wet nappy so would get more and more wound up until changed then would go as soon as changed (or when the nappy was off!)

Think they also struggle a bit with coordinating bearing down and relaxing the sphincter at the same time possibly. She fusses less now at 5m unless the nappy is too old (about 1 hour in a disposable!)

Ok that's good to hear! Gosh babies are so funny how fussy they can be already!
