Nappy Wipes Warmer

Does anyone use a nappy wipe warmer? I found the Prince Lionheart brand online and I am planning on buying one just to avoid using cold wipes for my newborn. Do they really work? It costs about £24.

sorry if I sounded nasty

it's just that some of us are going to every effort to turn lights off, use cloth nappies, travel to the recycle centre with crates of stuff and try to minimise our impact on the earth

while others are going out and leaving an electric wipes warmer on all day, and replacing it's 'microfibre' cushion regularly just because they can't be fagged walking down their own hall to turn a tap on

Can understand the idea and usefulness of a wipes warmer. No matter how warm a house is wipes alwys feel chilly on cute pink warm bottoms, and I always feel guilty when applying oe . Although I personally find with DS (1 wk) that cotton wool is easier than wipes anyway, unlike with ickle girls who dont have realy wrinkly bits and little areas you have to go checking under

Think there is a cultural divide on this thread however. JW is from accross the pond and everything is designed for easier living there. Not to mention that environmental issues dont seem to be as driven there as here. (Apologies JW if that's not the case) Also house are bigger by design so where down the hall in the UK may be a few feet, there is could be it longer.

To each hism or her own I guess!

Actually, jabberwocky did intend to use cloth nappies and had bought a set but her dh wouldn't agree to use them. ( Sorry, jabber, I'm not stalking you, honest! It was just a little detail I remembered}

One thing I never thought I'd use was one of those nappy stackers. I always, like jw had everything laid out on my changing station, the nappies (cloth by the way!) were just under the changing table. Then ds3 decided that the toilet was in fact the correct place to store nappies so now they have to be hung Up High in the nappy stacker or I'd be washing them before they had even been used.

we have a nappy stacker because a) we don't have a changing table and b) we have no cupboard space to store them. if we had space in the cupboards and drawers they would go there, but a nappy stacker is a way of creating extra storage.
