To train or not to train

I had a thread recently about DS and his potty training. After fab advice from MN, I decide that at 21 months, the little darling was to young. Since giving up, he's pulling his pull-ups off when they're wet, whipping them off when dirty and taking the poo out of his nappy.
Any advice on this would be great as I'm back at work next week so it's not a great time to start him.

Sorry, I go against the MN consensus on training (DD trained day and night at 18m).

if he's doing this it sounds like he's ready and I know friends who have ignored this stage and lived to regret it.

i know it's heresy to say so on MN but potty-training can be a doodle when they're little.

Hi gscrym, there's some other good points on a neighbouring thread here . You've probably already had a look, but thought I'd post anyway. Hope things are improving.
