I live in kingswinford, west midlands. doesn't have to be professional a sensible, responsible 15 year old+ with experience with babies would be okay. ds is 5 months old.

Nappy, is there a local secondary school near you, or a further education college? You might find someone doing an NVQ in childcare if you ask at the college. Alternatively, sometimes, people who are already working at nurseries nearby might want to earn some extra dosh. They would all be CRB checked too, so you could ask to see their certificate when you interview them.

I pay £4.00 per hour to my next door neighbour's daughters (they are 17 and 15). No idea if this is the going rate or not, so I'd be interested to know too!
