Steve Biddulph Talk- Raising Boys

I have just got home from ' an evening with Steve Biddulph' which was sort of a one-man parenting show. I am a total sucker for parenting books and had a couple of his already (secrets of Happy children is one)

Anyway it was a great evening and I wish my dh had gone too, so I have bought the cassette for him to listen to in the car!

If anyone is interested the only date left which isn't totally sold out is near Birmingham on Fri 21st May. If anyone is interested i will dig out the info.

He is great isnt he and really gets it if you know what I mean. I have been to see him twice and really enjoyed it and have all his books!! Am not a complete convert but reckon he makes some salient points and as a mother of 2 boys every bit helps!!!

I didn't know he'd done talks in the Uk before...I just stumbled across it by chance.

I always avoid anything by childcare gurus as they tend to make me feel inadequate. Is he good? Perhaps I'll get his book, I keep seeing it in the shops.
