my son starts school in January, and has just gone to school for a settling in session.

i cried!!!

he didnt want to go and asked to come home. i feel horrible.

i can go and get him at 11.30! im sure he'll be fine, guess he is just growing up.

Hang in there Steffy1, it will get better, but it's difficult to accept that they are growing up. Put your feet up and have a cuppa. Set an alarm for 11.15 (or whenever you need to leave to collect ds) and then don't keep clock watching!

DS2 starts at his new nursery in January - 5 afternoons a week. DS1 is in reception. Part of me misses them like crazy, but another part of me is looking forward to some "me" time and the opportunity to get round Tesco unaccompanied!
