Had a free sitting at pixifoto for my little one yesterday. But ended walking out £220 down!

So we spent £220 for 15 printed (8x10) photos, 2 story boards (50cmx50cm), and pictures purchased sent via email.

I got home and i felt we had over done it! Thing is, it's no going back now! I do regret it, but really couldn't resist the pics. It's mixed some of DS, and some family ones.

My sister spent over £500 on pictures of her three dc when they were little and they've hung on her walls, giving her enjoyment for almost 15 years. When you put it like that it doesn't seem so expensive .

That's how they get you! (And why you get the 'free' sitting!) BUT....and I mean this quite genuinely - you only get that time when they're little once and so it is lovely to record it and save the memory. I suspect in 5 years (never mind 20) you will look back and be glad that you bought the pics if you liked them. Plus - email allows you to share that with family/friends etc.

I should apply for a job marketing for them, shouldn't I? Grin

That's made me feel a whole lot better. Thats exactly my thinking at the time, 'he's worth every penny so why not!' Then came home & thought maybe should have spent less and gone elsewhere lol!

But I think after reading both your replies I feel I done the right thing.

Natalia go for it Wink
