Who does your toddler shout on through the night?

I can't help but feel guilty that my little boy will shout on his daddy during night if he wakes up. We live together and DP is very laid back to a point that it makes me a little jealous as I am the complete opposite. I love that he's a great dad and has loads of patience but I feel hurt that my DS (29MO) shouts on hiss Daddy. Is this normal. When I was little it would always be my mum that I felt most comfortable calling on if I woke up Confused

Totally normal in my experience. My young children both went through phases of calling only for mum, only for dad, or switching it up. ... I assume your son calls for you at other times?

Son calls out for me at night (possibly because he has learnt that my DH can sleep through anything so it's pointless!) but Daddy is definitely the fun one during the day....

I wouldn't worry Flowers , I bet it's a phase x

Always "Mummy". Both of them. Most nights. I'm bloody exhausted.

The kids tend to shout at each other, not sure what that's says of our parenting skills!
