We have a fab Philips one I got from B &Q, it has a sliding scale to choose the colour light which DS2 loves.

We have a tranquil turtle for going off to sleep which DS age 5 loves stole from his baby sister 2 years ago and he has a Philips buddy lamp which is very easy and safe for them to turn on, and a torch lamp which is handy for taking away. Battery life on the torch and turtle are great. Torch is rechargeable and despite being on all night I only charge it every 5/6 nights.

If I had a choice it'd be the torch light. DS won't be parted with any.

We also have a bog standard plug in on the landing.

We have scared of the dark issues in our house, can you tell! Wink
