For example, I say, sweet dreams about custard creams. Don't even know why! What's yours???

I say "Sleep well - and mummy will see you in theeeeee...." And she gleefully squeals back "MORNING!!"
I then say. "Do you love Mummy?"
She whispers "Yeahhhhhh!"
I say "I love you too sleep well."

Grin every night the same

Fairylea · 07/11/2015 23:19

Snug as a bug :) same thing my dad always used to say to me!

Pyjamaface · 07/11/2015 23:20

Me: Night night
DS: Night night
Me: I love you
DS: Love you too
Me: Even though you're wonderful
DS: Even though you're wonderfuller

It used to be 'even though you're a bumface/bumfacier'. I can't remember why it was or why it changed Grin

Something along the lines of "love you lots, see you in the morning"
She's 18.

PerspicaciaTick · 07/11/2015 23:32

Will you get back in your bed.
Bed now.
Stop haring around like a loon.
Why are you up again.
I can hear you pounding around.
Make that your last toilet visit.
Bed now
Go to sleep.

We start off doing all the nice cuddles and loveliness, but it's downhill from there.

Gutterflower · 07/11/2015 23:32

Night night
Sleep tight
See you in the morning

Followed by a kiss and an I love you

2tired2bewitty · 07/11/2015 23:59

Good night (kiss)
God bless (kiss)
Sweet dreams (kiss)
Love you (big kiss)

DH and I do the same before we nod off Blush

PlaymobilPirate · 08/11/2015 00:02

I do 'you're handsome and kind and gorgeous and cute and happy and smiley and... mine'

The words change sometimes but same sentiment...

then 'night night, love you'

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeG0es · 08/11/2015 00:08

I just say "night".

teenmumandsowhat · 08/11/2015 00:10

Me: night night,
: sleep tight
Dd: don't let the bed bugs bite!
(She's 2.5yrs and thinks this is hilarious)
Also usually end up repeatedly telling her little brother to get back in bed (he's 1.5yrs)
Followed by a "see you in the morning" as I run out the bedroom, to shut the baby gate and turn the lights off before they get out of bed!

OvO · 08/11/2015 00:12

"Night night, love you."
They repeat
"Sweet dreams."
They repeat
"Don't let the Chompies bite"*
"WE WONT"

Then as I leave the room I say, "love you lots, jellytots"

Chompies are bitey little monsters from the Skylanders game.

ShadyMyLady · 08/11/2015 08:36

DC1 (11) - night night, love you, see you in the morning
DD2 (5) - story and then night night, love you and then a counted number of kisses and a deep squeeze. I leave the room. Then an array of good night, lie down, get back into bed, stop jumping on the bed, please stop running around, get out the bathroom and stop playing with the water, no you don't need another wee, please stop screaming your brother is trying to sleep, continuously for a good half hour to hour (she has ASD).
DC3 (2) - lubs you, night night, he responds with the same and then I give him a big hug and numerous kisses. And I also tell him sometimes to ignore DC2, she scares him sometimes with her antics!

Courts10 · 09/11/2015 00:34

Night night baby, I love you, blow her a kiss (still in cot) I'll be back in a minute.
Go back in about 10 minutes later to see if she is aSleep, fetch milk bottle out. Say - I love you I'll see you in the morning (asleep or not)

DickDewy · 09/11/2015 00:41

I say GO TO FUCKING BED!!

Mine are teens Confused

AGapInTheMarket · 09/11/2015 00:55

I say "You are the moon and stars to me!" and she (2yo) has recently started replying/chiming in with, "Do you know that?" :)

BarbaraManatee · 09/11/2015 01:06

"Nos da, cysga'n dawel... garu di."

DS2 replies with "nor-da" or "gaaah-di" & DS1 giggles "baker's man". Not the foggiest how he came up with that one, he says it anytime I say "garu di"! Confused

Djelibeyb · 09/11/2015 01:21

AnnieOnAMapleLeaf · 09/11/2015 01:30

TJEckleburg · 09/11/2015 01:50

Me:night night, mumma..
Them:loves me
Me:and mumma see you
Them:in da morning

They are 11 and 13. We still do this every night. I'm periodically not well, and so sometimes in bed in pain when it's time for them to go to bed, so sometimes the roles are reversed and they tuck me in, which usually makes me cry (once they've left the room)

Postchildrenpregranny · 09/11/2015 01:56

Night night sleep tight .See you morning .Then a kiss in the palm of their hand ,which I curled their fingers over .
My DCs are grown up and left home .I have been known to text this to them
