Saying that, our Council do a £40 rebate when you send your receipt to them.

My council says they have plans to set something in motion "next year"... guess who I am harrassing on Jan 1st

lol Flame..its not right is it!!! My council has info on website in regards to how many tons of disposables are in landfills etc but nothing on intiatives or even nappy networks.

Keep hassling them - and bombard them with what's avaiable in other areas.

Not sure if it is run by the council, or just supported by them

Do any of you live in southampton as our council don't seem to have any nappy incentive. I emailed them to ask about it and they directed me to a web page that doesn't exist!

Wiltshire does a £30 cashback scheme - run by Wilts Wildlife Trust - just need to fill in voucher & send in with receipt. Think they have funding until Dec 2007.

Leeds do sod all despite having a page on their website telling me how much it costs them to deal with disposables each year. They also have links to the nappy network, but no incentives. Wakefield (7 miles from me) have £40 of incentives....so I wrote to my council and complained...waiting for a response.

Idon't know how long they have been doing it for, but they say they only have a limited number of packs.

They also do a trial kit for people to try out different types (for a small deposit)

My council also say they are looking into starting something next year. Will keep hassling them!
