My poor boy is 6 months old and showing every sign of teething bar the actual tooth itself! I know it's common for them to have not so nice nappies and plenty of them but he's been 11 times today. I've upped his fluids, temp is fine, he's eating fine and is happy unless I'm wiping his bottom (which is so sore, poor thing) but just wondering if I should be worried? I feel like the answer's no... But I went and googled it like a fool!

Tbh 11 dirty nappies sounds extreme for teething .

However no reason to be worried either way - as long as he's hydrated, you really wash your hands a lot and keep him away from others who might catch a bug he'll be ok.

Not 100% it's not teething though - dd had 2/3 horrific nappies and massivelt high temp for just less than 24 hrs before a tooth popped theough.

Have you tried bepanthen on his bum?

I can't say for certain either way if it's teeth but can I recommend Conotrane for the nappy rash it's fab. I think it's prescription only so you can get it under minor ailments saving a doctors trip
