I need some help with getting my son to understand that having a second can be a good thing. any ideas he is 3 and half

What does that have to do with same sex parenting? Or do you mean a second parent?

I think perhaps she means parenting two children of the same sex? So persuading her older child to be excited about having an imminent younger brother?
