Unwell DD and Food

I think I know the answer but just need opinions.

DD is 9 months and has a cold and cough. She's barely eaten solid food today, and down on her milk.

I can see her staying up past 7 tonight and she's just in such a grumpy mood I think making her dinner will just stress her out.

It'll be ok to give dinner a miss tonight won't it? I think she'll take a bottle before sleeping, or part bottle anyway

Yes as long as she's getting plenty fluids

Thanks for that

Just had 210ml bottle there so I'm pleased- more than I thought she'd take

I would keep up fluids and offer soft food that she enjoys, yogurt etc

You could try steam if she isnt settling, get the bath running really hot, shut the door, then just go and sit in there with her, keep the door shut so the steam stays

She has perked up a bit today and had a few mouthfuls of each meal, a good helping of mango and all her bottles.

She's only had a few sips of water but doing not too badly.

I had her in the bathroom with me this morning while I shivered, I do every day anyway so she git steam then

We've got some calpol plug in thing which is quite nice actually plus snuffle babe on a tissue under her vest

The hard part is she's been in bed with me every night from 9 this week. I'm getting no chill out time at all Sad
