Looking for inspiration for xmas presents for my ds who will be 10 months at Xmas. So far all I've got Is some blocks as my older dc both loved them. There's only me buying him toys for xmas, grandparents are buying his next size car seat and other family buying him clothes.
There's a vast amount of toys out there it's quite overwhelming. I don't want to buy crap for it not to get played with.
What's the one (or two) toy your dc loved and played with the most?

Shape sorter
Vtech walker

My 14 month old loves her baby walker, any v tech thing that makes noise, the hammer and peg sets, wooden puzzles (she likes taking them apart, hasn't figured out to put them back yet). She is also just getting interested in soft toys.

Sounds a bit random but my DD loved a little wooden set of pop up pegs. There's 4 that are different colours with little faces on them. Only about £7 from amazon, they were just a stocking filler but she's still obsessed with them now (23 mths). A friend came round the other week with her little girl (14 mths) and said she's got the same set, and her daughter loves them too. Best value present ever.

Minikievs - I've seen so many littlies go nuts over those. I have no idea why! It's definitely on my list of top toys for 1-2yo. on amazon here

Bead gym.

Her belly button. My phone. Grin

She has a really annoying bear that speaks when you press a button on its tummy. It doesn't have an off switch. Pressie from a well-meaning neighbour, baby loves it unfortunately. She also adores her Moomin lift-the-flaps book, Tomy squeaky eggs, anything she can ride on or climb into.

Thanks for the suggestions I shall get on amazon for a look at them
