Ds is 7m he's just cut his 1st 2 bottom teeth when and how do I go about brushing his teeth? Do I use toothpaste straight away? Do I do it myself or let him play and bite on the toothbrush?
I've got 2 older dc but can't for the life remember when and how I introduced teeth brushing.
Any tips?

I had been letting DD play with a toothbrush for months before her teeth came in so she was used to it, I brush for a bit and then let her have a go.

Her dentist said just to rub some toothpaste along her gums with your finger in the early days so you could maybe start with that?

Normal toothpaste or is there a baby toothpaste?

We have a kids one, it was a handout at weaning class.

I think one that's at least 1000ppm will be ok, maybe check NHS website

Use one with at least 1000ppm. You just need a smear on a baby toothbrush.
