With chicken, beef, sausages or pork. Or lovely veggie ones too? Thanks xx

My fav is -

chicken
chorizo
potatoes
chickpeas
chopped tomatos (enough to almost cover the meat and potatos)
tomato puree (lots)
garlic puree (a bit less)
smoked paprika (a lot)
cayenne pepper (a little bit)
hot chilli powder (a medium bit)

bung it all in, cook for 6 hours. At some point, mash a small bit of the potato, to thicken the sauce.

Sorry, not very precise. I don't add salt or stock, as I give some to my toddler. Probably wouldn't hurt it though.

Actually, on reflection, pretty much everything I cook in the slow cooker is the same - chopped tomato, tomato puree, garlic, some fairly random spices or herbs + mince/meatballs/chicken/sausage, with beans or veg.

Hope you get more replies, as I would like some variety. I'd like a good rice recipe. Mine always come out as mush.

I often 'cheat' and use sachets. Coleman or scwartz. but don't suppose you'd want those for a small child.

They do a nice chicken curry, also beef in ale, that sort of thing. I Googled pulled pork and that was pretty easy.

Otherwise i have put meat in with a variety of veg, stock, herbs and spices and then thickened with cornflour.
