Dds age 3.10 and 11mo playing with my make up bag for last 15 mins. Blissful peace. Only a small squabble over blusher here or there. Elder dd sporting bad scouse brows. Totally worth it but can you tell me what other non-toys generate such silence?

My dd used to love going through my handbag, emptying cards out of purse etc.

Sitting on the draining board playing with the taps, water and empty bottles.

We're moving house soon and my 3 yo twins spent an hour today emptying lots of out of date flour/food/spices into the compost heap, obviously not something that can be repeated very often but they loved it!

Have they experienced a hole punch?? Make sure it's light enough for the 3.10 to punch. At least an hour from mine.
My button box is also good for 30 minutes as long as he doesn't touch any if my shockingly expensive bought pre child ones!
And finally the latest one is the pasta server or pasta man as he is known. He had a whole life in the kitchen this weekend, and kept going to bed in the tea towel drawer.

I LOVE when they play with random shit!
