DS, 2, has had awful cough on and off for months. Previously tried piriton, inhalers, all sorts... And docs can't seem to agree if it's asthma or not.
Today I took him to the GP again as his chest sounded spongy/crackly. It hasn't sounded like that before and they prescribed antibiotics (he also has a temp), and said they'd refer for chest x Ray in a week if it persists.
In a way this is what I wanted, someone to take me seriously, but now I'm terrified and thinking the worst.
Anyone any experience of this? Can anyone offer any advice or reassurance?
