PSYCHOLOGY ESSAY.... can anyone please please help me??? please??

Hi

I have been sittin at my PC for 3 hours ow

Basically what we have to do is write a 1500 essay about Improving Job Interview Performance. Not hard, I hear you say, and really, it's not.. But I cannot think of how to begin it..I always have this problem....

AND the books that the tutor give us to reference to don't seem to be showing up on my Uni library (well the online search facility isn't showing any of them up)

We have to identify particular strengths/weaknesses of using interviewing as a method of selecting candidates for jobs, we have to use relevant literature to highlight strengths of the method, & suggest how improvements in the area of weakness could be made.....

We were interviewed by our peers before this assignment, and our CV and cover letter for the "jobs" will be entered as well for coursework...

I have been looking for online journals but they all ask me for an athens pasword..which I do know I have, but have no idea what it is or how I can get it

Ohhh I hope someone can help me... please?

If you follow the links for athens log in from where it asks you the password you will be taken to a site where you log in with your normal university log in details. (usually were there is an athens log in option you click on athens rather than entering a password into the space on the journal website) You should also be able to check if your university subscribes to that journal. Unfortunately even if your uni is part of te athens network that doesn't always mean you can access everything on it.

OUP journals though have lots of stuff available to read for free with no log in needed.

I'm having a nightmare with Athens at the moment!
Seems to be a bit strange since Sept.

When I couldn't start an essay I would begin in the middle. The beauty of wordprocessing is that you can set your thoughts down in any order and then rearrange them. Often, once I'd got into the flow of the work, the start of the essay would just come to me.

Athens will let me put my student number in, but then tells me my password is wrong.. & I have no idea what it is

I have had another look on my library list & have found two of the 17 journals, so if I use two and reference from two, it might be ok. I'll email the tutor & ask him anyway.
