DD has been invited to a 4 yr old boys birthday party & I'm not sure what to get as a present. I dont know his mum to ask her what hes into. Happy to pay up to £20 ish

Can anyone help me think of a 'safe bet'?! Lego? Play doh? Cars?

Thanks in advance!!

Duplo, cars, monster trucks. He also likes floor puzzle type jigsaws and Orchard Toys games. I just bought my 4 year old the orchard toys 3 little pigs game and he really likes it.

By the way, I don't think you need to spend £20 for a present of a child you don't know well. You could get something good for £10.

I thought the same about £20, it seems more than necessary but obviously it's up to you!

My 4 yo boy would love you forever if you got him a Transformer or a Lego set.

Something like this or this. Or these VTech Switch'n'Go Dinos are brilliant.
