Due to a change in work circumstances, we are having to move our lo from a large nursery into the local nursery with a childminder or nanny collecting him in the afternoon.
I'm looking around at options at the moment and it seems that the childminder will charge for all day, even though he is at nursery, as he takes up a space (and they would have to look after him during the pre-school holidays). Does anyone know if this is usual practice? Or should I haggle!? This makes it almost unaffordable and I'll be working at a loss, even with the 15hr free. TIA
