I have never posted before but I need advice. My 11 year old DD has just started at a lovely Catholic secondary school. She was issued with a new school lap a few days ago which we parents were told had been set up with appropriate child safety in place. I decided this morning to check the YouTube on it, as she had been asked to research something on it, and I found in the history section, sex and torture videos from a month ago, before she got the laptop. I asked a friend who knows a little about these things, and he thought that the profile of the laptop had belonged to someone else, and that when it was changed to my DD, the videos had remained. I find this pretty shocking as only a click away is the most awful material. Obviously I am going to take it up with the school, but I wondered if this has happened to anyone else?
