I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or advice on looking after a very active 17 month old while heavily pregnant.
I'm of work now so have my lb during the day, which I love he's so happy but also extremely active he never seems to sit still so I'm always up and down, bending down to pick stuff up and lifting him (everything your not meant to do)
However I recently I have had a few occasions were I have had a bit of blood when going to the toilet. The midwife have said its fine and is just because I'm running around after my lb and I need to take it easy.
However that works on paper but in real life when I'm the only one at home (other half is at work) I'm struggling to take it easy as well as running around after him.
Any tips or advice would be fab. Thank you

You have my sympathy! Ds is 22 months and I'm due in a few days. Our house is fairly toddler proof, so I just let him run around it during the day. Unless something needs to be picked up off the floor I leave it on the floor until dh gets home. Sometimes I can persuade ds to pick something up /put it away. Thankfully in the last few months ds doesn't want to be carried as much and is happy enough holding my hand when we are out and about. I also go to a few toddler groups where I can sit and watch ds run around. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
