am I a really crap mum because I forgot to buy....

advent calenders for my Kids
I mean, they have been in the shops for so long and I just kept thinking, far far to early, so,didn't want to buy them yet and just realised it's the first of December tomorrow....oh no....!
Have been poorly the last few days, does that count as an excuse?
Will have to buy some extra nice ones tomorrow, me thinks

I've got the sort with little pockets that you fill up with goodies each year. So... I have the calendar, but buggered if I have anything to put in it! (Have put some sweets in tomorrow's pocket... will go shopping tomorrow...)

Oh, I am sooooooooo sooooooooooo glad that I am not the only mum that forgot...!
I actually have those refillable ones, too...BUT they are in the attick somewhere and dh isn't back till 15th of December...sigh...so...can't get to those!
Did buy some today though and boys didn't even realise until I bought them, lmao!

Me too but mainly because my sis usually gets them for my children. Had to dash around the shops this morning to get some (and they weren't reduced...)

I couldn't be bothered looking for things to fill the pockets but was lucky I was out shopping yesterday and got the older 2 a chocolate one each. They think it is Christmas already as they so rarely get choccy!
